Where is the diaspora desk gone?
FMH Diaspora DeskPosted by Dr G.T.Igodo Sun, January 17, 2010 19:44:08The Federal Ministry of Health in Nigeria contacted MANSAG and other similar groups in the diaspora to announce the launch of a Diaspora Desk a couple of years ago. The idea behind this was to provide a central point for coordinating our individual and collective efforts towards helping our country's failing healthcare system. This was to be a dedicated desk manned by a few very committed individuals, Recent attempts to contact the desk on a number of occasions have failed - leaving me asking: "Where is the desk gone?"
